Quick Reads & Sticky Notes
Book club is back!
Each Friday night Kori, LB, and Jenn
will be joined by at least one of the guys
to discuss the book choice for the week.
Watch the book club streams Friday night at 9pm on the Twitch Channel, or catch the video later on YouTube.
Kori, a Delaware native, is married with three dogs. She was introduced to dark romance novels when she first read There Are No Saints by Sophie Lark, and she quickly unlocked a love for unhinged books with playlists to go along. Her favorite book read (so far) is Pen Pal Duet by Gigi Styx, even though she barely survived it mentally.
When she isn’t reading, she enjoys music, drawing, dominating in fantasy football and being raggedy on the various Studley Show Community streams.
Originally from Memphis, TN, Laura Beth, now calls South Carolina home, where she enjoys life with her husband. A lover of food, karaoke, and cozy naps, she finds joy in the little things, often unwinding with a session of Ark Ascended, Fortnite, or curling up with a good book.
LB has fond memories of starting her reading journey with a summer reading program as a little girl, igniting a lifelong passion for stories. Her favorite book is The Never King by Nikki St. Crowe, a captivating dark romance. She’s excited to share her love of books and connect with fellow readers!
Somewhere in the NC mountains you’ll find Jenn cuddling with her dog while reading or listening to a sports romance book, or whatever book Kori has roped her in to reading. She’s also been known to bake a ton of cookies just to mail to her friends because baking gives her great joy and she loves making people happy.
Although she’s always loved reading romance, her first introduction to Dark Romance was in this very book club – and now she’s hooked. Her favorite authors include Brynne Weaver, Navessa Allen, and Sara Cate.
Let’s get the guys involved!
For some reason unbeknownst to me, Mitch and Virgil and Jessie agreed to join our book club shenanigans.
One of the guys is scheduled to join us each week, but if more than one of them reads the book, they’re more than welcome to sit in on the stream.
We also have them involved in the book-choosing process some weeks, so they can’t say they didn’t know what they were getting in to!
